I’m Noreen, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA or how my youngest son describes it CP-YAY) with 17 years of experience specializing in tax accounting. After spending six years in public accounting, I decided to branch off on my own to provide personalized service to individuals and small businesses. My professional passion lies in helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation while fostering an environment that encourages questions and open dialogue. I believe that understanding your financial landscape is key to achieving success.
In addition to my commitment to my clients, I am also a single mother of two wonderful boys. My family inspires me every day, and I strive to be a positive role model for them. Outside of work, I’m an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys yoga, weightlifting, and hiking. I also have a vast collection of indoor plants and a growing number of pets.

As a self-made woman, I reflect on my career and personal journey towards becoming an Enrolled Agent, I recognize that my passion for tax preparation and commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of the tax system have been the driving force behind my career path. Growing up in a family that valued financial literacy, I witnessed firsthand the challenges that can arise from a lack of understanding about taxes and financial obligations. This ignited a desire in me to empower others through knowledge and support.
My academic background in accounting has provided me with a solid foundation in financial principles, while my practical experiences in tax preparation and compliance have honed my analytical skills. I have worked diligently to master the intricacies of federal tax regulations and have always sought opportunities to expand my knowledge, whether through continuing education or professional development workshops. This dedication culminated in my decision to become an Enrolled Agent, a role that allows me to advocate for taxpayers and provide them with the representation they deserve before the IRS.
In addition to my technical skills, effective communication is vital in this field. My experiences have taught me the importance of listening to clients’ concerns, understanding their unique situations, and tailoring solutions that align with their needs. As an Enrolled Agent, I aim to build trust and foster long-term relationships with my clients, ensuring they feel supported throughout the tax process.
My goal is to leverage my expertise as an Enrolled Agent to demystify tax issues for individuals and small businesses alike, guiding them towards financial empowerment and peace of mind.
On a personal level, my hobbies include pugs, traveling, dog rescue, and gardening. My home state is New Mexico, and I travel home every year to catch up and hike the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range.
